Volunteer Internship

As a volunteer in the SNAP Lab, you will get to see first-hand how pediatric neuroscience research is done specifically in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). We aim to help you gain the knowledge and experience that you are looking for. This is a unique opportunity to work in a world-class university and gain experience with a wide variety of neuroimaging, including MRI, EEG, and MEG. We also ask the following commitments for every volunteer:

  1. One year minimum commitment.
  2. Minimum of 4-hours/week whether that time is spent helping run subjects, learning about research, or assisting with other tasks within the lab.
  3. Weekends and weekday evenings are a priority for scanning participants.
  4. We need to have your availability 2 weeks in advance so that we can plan appropriately to support our kids and your needs.
  5. Data entry is as critical as running subjects. Your time will include both imaging and data entry.
